MEUS Racing Aluminum Alloy TRX4M Transmission Gearbox With Dual Speed 15.7:1 and 56.6:1 for TRAXXAS TRX4M 1/18 RC Crawlers Upgrade Parts.
Key Features:
- 1. Use high-quality aluminum alloy material and steel gears, surface oxidation treatment, and be sturdy and durable.
- 2. Control the servo through CH3 and manually switch gears to two programs. Use the CH3 control program. The original factory remote control does not work together.
- 3. High speed 15.7:1, and low speed 56.6:1 provide two crawling speeds, and can easily cope with various road conditions.
- 4. Suitable for TRX4M original frame or other frames with large enough space.
- 5. The gearbox is suitable for 2mm motor shaft brushless motors.
Note: TRX4M 2-speed transmission Does not fit MEUS ripper chassis.
(Reason: Because the 2-speed gearbox's height is too high. The ripper's cab cannot be placed into this gearbox. The cab needs to be removed and some cutting work needs to be done. So by default, it is not compatible.)

Note: This Dual Speed Transmission doesn't work with a 370 motor, because the installation hole positions are different.
Installation instructions
1. Processing time
Normally, orders after payment will be ready for shipment within 72 working hours on Monday to Friday. When there is a holiday or weekend, there may be a slight delay.

4. Shipping time
In-stock orders are received by 18:00 (GMT+08:00）Monday-Friday and will usually ship the same day. Orders will usually ship the next business day if received after 18:00(GMT+08:00) or on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays.

Leider sind die Schaltwege ein Stück zu lang, so , das der Weg vom Servo leider NICHT ganz ausreicht um entweder der Große oder der kleine Gang NICHT sauber schaltet und kur vor dem einschaltpunkt "verhungert". Die Schaltservo Position uns/oder die Anlenkung ist SEHR improvisiert und eher etwas für intusiasten. Zudem ist das Modell im kleinen Gang schon EXTREM Langsam. Eine etwas längere Übersetzung oder ein Höher drehender Motor wäre sehr zu Vorteil!
Abgesehen von der eher bescheidenen Ansteuerung ist das Getriebe sehr gut und passt in das Modell.
This is an amazing product. Build quality is excellent, the low gear is better than factory crawler, and the high gear is better than factory trail. Very pleased with this product, only a few issues:
1) installation NEEDS instructions!!! I’m a mechanical engineer and DIY mechanic, it was still very fiddly to install this trans with no instructions. Far too many components and fasteners to not have instructions, lesser-technical people will be overwhelmed.
2) The manual shift linkage lasted for two shifts, then immediately launched itself into high orbit, never to be found again. Had to make my own using a cotter pin.
3) minor issue: tolerances aren’t as good as the factory plastic components, I now have some side-to-side play in my rear axle because it does not hold the links as good as factory.
4) installation with factory motor is tricky. Had to flip the factory motor drive gear 180 degrees on the shaft, there is a small non-gear section of the motor gear that interferes with the gears in the transmission.
5) needed to reverse polarity on my stock motor. Unpin, swap terminals, re-pin.
6) battery tray needed to be positioned vertical, factory harness needed to change side on my application.
Overall great product, but not a direct swap in with the factory TRX. Instructions would make this a 5-star product. Great upgrade for the TRX-4M, but be ready for some fiddling and figuring out.

Really excited!
I always wanted a 2 speed for my little crawlers 1/18. Now finally MEUS has made an amazing product that works and fits my trx4m defender. I got the silver one without the motor. I was extremely cautious when opening up the transmission and fitting a 66t motor. The quality, weight, and purpose was perfect. I still use stock electronics, I got new electronics, but moving the slider for the shifter with your fingers is just too fun!!
Amazing product I love it. If you see this review buy the product, you wont regret it!
